My journey here

Let’s rewind to where this all began.

Firstly, I’m a sucker for love.

Being there when your friend finds their special someone, having the opportunity to play cupid, watching a love story unfold or a “date” with my favourite rom-com, love is the best!

I understand the importance of finding that special someone. Someone to share experiences with, to laugh, to cry and everything in between.

Secondly I love talking to people.

Regular old chatty Cathy over here. My school teachers, family, friends and colleagues can definitely attest to that.

Becoming a marriage celebrant and having the opportunity to speak with people at one of the happiest moments of their lives….as my job…. is bliss!

As a young (ish) celebrant I understand what romance in the digital age looks like. It’s less about being set-up by friends, or family, but these days it's often determined by algorithms and swipe left or right, witty one liners, or awful cliches. Many modern love stories have come out of such interactions.

If you’re looking for someone who doesn’t resemble your Aunt Jane or Mr King the modern history teacher. Someone who takes the time to understand your unique love story (you met covered head to toe in glitter at Mardi Gras - love that!!). Who can laugh with you, or pass the tissues when your mum’s being a bridezilla (she already had her turn right?!), I think I’m your celebrant!
